    Weiss INT203 Devialet recommended the Weiss and EAS from the beginning. In fact, in many audio circles, firewire (400 or 800) is considered much better for audio than USB. This is also the position in the Weiss white paper on digital audio.

    You should not forget that "no cable" is not "just air" beween sender and receiver. Wireless streaming is much more complex and involves many more parts that can fail (and degrade the signal) than cable based options.
