    Agree it's tube sensitive. My favorites were actually medical-grade 12at7 RCA black plates - YMMV. Wonderful amp (and great ppl behind it), enjoy.

    Really enjoyed my time with Riviera (had the Levante). Ultimately preferred Nagra, but there are many wonderful flavors out there.

    Very fine speaker, I also own a pair of the (not so) limited edition signature version. I previously had Stenheim Alumine bookshelves...if you think the realism of the Grahams is something else, you should hear the Stenheims. The Grahams have less outright realism and imaging and layering...
