Well, an M3 coupled with Spectral amplification is certainly a heck of a system, and something I could live with forever. And Jeff may well end up here. But I am pretty sure that he will start listening at a significant lower price level first, and see if he can live happily with that. If not...

The used S1s that I bought from the USA finally arrived about a week ago. They are almost new, barely run in yet.

That is not what I hear from people who actually heard it, and can compare SAM with non-SAM. But they also say it is a subtle change, not a dramatic one.
I don't know that (never been in Hong Kong), but I have heard the combinations Soulution/Q5 and Soulution/S1, both with top of the line MIT cables, and that worked extremely well.
I really hope to hear them once. Unfortunately, Magico is not imported in the UAE, where I currently live.
