I will be there Friday and part of Saturday.
I used to be a member of the Suncoast Audio Society, so looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and some great sounding gear.
I've read that the Grimm MU-1 is a nice streamer.
In comparing the Pulsar ($7999) to the Aurender N200 ($6300) I was trying to keep the cost factor somewhat equal.
The Grimm at $12500 is more in line with the N20 at $12500.
It's great that the various manufacturers keep striving to "up the bar"...
I had the N200 and the Pulsar at the same time. For me it was very clear that the Pulsar was a significant step up in quality.
"More" of everything. Plus the "Sense" app is icing on the cake.
Sold the N200 and never looked back.
After hearing of others success by using ECC40 tubes, I acquired a pair of Tungsrams.
I also went on Fleabay to VIC-Audio and purchased a pair of adapters.
They are listed as ECC40 to 12AX7 6.3V
After receiving the tubes and adapters I thought I would test them.
I put them in my DIY tube...
