Easy! You have the same feeling with the FR64 and the Glanz. Some of it with the DV 507. It is solid, call it heavy or stable. You can feel it when you lift the arm and place the cartridge over the record. Its a feeling of "correctness" close tolerance bearings, and something that just works...
I had the Ikeda 407 at home, when reviewing the 9Gss. It's a very good arm, but it is alu - not stainless steel like the FR64 and FR66. I had the older arms as well as the FR64fx (sold them). I wanted the same "feeling" as the FR66 and that is what i got in the Glanz MH124S 12". I reviewed both...
Hi! I'm new her. Got the Ikeda G9ss silver running in the Stainless Steel Glanz 12" arm. It's a killer combo on my Platine Verdier. Have tried it in Ikedas own arm, as well in my DV 507 mk. II.
