Those who cheat are often lazy. I recently came across a post one a forum for parrot owners where a scammer was using one of the member’s photos in their ads. On multiple sites they posted her pictures offering parrots for sale and it was just a scam.
You just answered it. Thanks.
Yeah it is a shame that we have to be suspicious of motives on this forum. I wish that wasn’t the case.
Thanks for sharing your impressions of the switches.
I believe he asked so that he could confirm that there isn’t something fishy going on. When the nearly the same post is repeated by different people it can lead people to wonder if someone in the industry is trying to hype a product by making it seem as though it’s just happy consumers who are...
You made the statement "I must say for people to "hate" Roon so much why do we keep hearing people talking about it." I was providing insight into the why those who "hate" Roon often talk about it. We want it to get better.
As far as your first point of disagreement, we are expressing what...
Which part of what I wrote - that I inferred that it user experience?
This is subjective of course. For me it has a lot to do with their tagging. I love that I don’t have to fret with that when I use Roon as they usually find a good match.
Because if the best user experience was matched with the best sound quality and the best customer service, we'd have something that's very special. Unfortunately, we get only one out of three in my humble opinion.
I will say that I could not be happier with my Delta v2s. The bang for buck is pretty high with these cords.
I was using Alpha HC on my Denali v1, amp, DAC and music server. I first ordered two Delta v2 and placed them on Denali and my amp. This was a very nice improvement, but an even...
I wish I could answer that. I did find that the Delta NR v2 was significant better than the Alpha HC that came before the Alpha NR v1, but I’m not sure how much better the Alpha NR v1 was over the Alpha HC.
I will say though that if your system could use some more clarity in the upper...
I absolutely agree with this. In hindsight, I had swung the pendulum a bit too far in the pick-a-company direction as a result of having some poor experiences previously because I had placed all my eggs in the sound quality bucket. You are being smart about doing the proper due diligence. I...
That is not exactly the point I had meant to make. Of course sound quality has to factor into it. I just think that the point-in-time demo shouldn’t be the sole determining factor.
The reviews I read about Antipodes gave me a strong indication that it would match my listening preference...
I honestly believe the company should be the deciding factor as sound quality is a moving target. The big question is how well does the company allow you to say current should you want to take advantage of their latest advancements. The server market is still in the maturing phase, and things...
That’s a great point. Emile is setting a high standard - there’s no doubt about that. But I have been super-impressed with how well Antipodes supports their customers. It’s pretty easy to book a time for them to remote in and resolve issues. I have had to set up two different sessions and my...
An open source application called Shairport can be enabled on Antipodes players. This provides support for Airplay 1. I believe that Innuos is using this as well.
It can be against rules to post links to other forums so I embedded the link behind the word “here” in my post. Hyperlink are so darn easy to miss on this forum though so here’s the link...
