    WADAX dedicated forum

I've heard Wadax in two rooms last year in Munich. One room sounded great. Texture with good soundstage. Very rich sound with ambience. Other room was a dissapointment for me. Cheaper analog setup just outperformed Wadax expensive setup. Sound was harsh and not for my taste. I thought that it...

Soulution, early adopter of Leedh Processing

I'm a bliever in the LEEDH Volume control. It works best when using 16bit recordings. There recording has been mastered carefully chosing noise shaper/dithering that fits. Adding additional noise used in classic digital volume controls, when changing volume will change the sound. I've been...

Declining use of negative feedback - trend?

Negative feedback is not completely understood for the audio. I like to use it a lot in my designs. There is a boundary when it is too much and sound subjectively starts to degrade. What is causing it I don't know. Whatever it is, we cannot measure it with methods that we are currenty using. For...

    Hello from Croatia

Output of the buffer stage from video OP AMP is operating in class A. Power stage is simple class D. Idea is to get SET sound with lots of power utilizing analog signal processing and class D power.

    Hello from Croatia

Video OP AMPs are used for two reasons: 1. High bandwidth - makes easier to design feedback without causing instability issues 2. High output current - used as an buffer output stage in class A

    Hello from Croatia

Thanks. It is all integrated. Mayority are OP AMPs and majority of them are video OP AMPs.

    Hello from Croatia

Mozzaik1 amplifier controls the sound with the precise analog processing in the input stage. Mathematical operations used for processing are implemented using Gilbert cells for multiplication. Same concept is used in RF modulation / demodulation as digital processing for RF is not applicable. We...

    Playback Designs MPD-8

I've heard Playback Design electronics in High-End Munich before COVID-19. I was impressed with the sound. It was in 10 best sounding rooms at the show IMHO.
