    I had the TAD REF1 MK.2 several years ago before replacing it with magico m6s. i ran 4x LAMM m2.2 amps with , and while enjoyed the overall sound immensely for a good 4 years, i always felt that the lamm didn't have enough oomph to really drive those speakers.

    Great choice, imho.the luxman and esoteric are similar in sound signature and more engaging then the gryphon .

    Tried the gryphon antilleon with MY m6 and thought it darkened the sound.the presentation was quite veiled and unengaging. opted for the esoteric M1X instead- open ,life like ,detailed and musical.

    The few times I heard the Vitus gear, I kept shaking my head with disappointment…… you can’t go wrong with any of the BAT preamps. Had the original Rex years ago, and still regretting selling it.
