I have a pair of Gibraltar G-2's and they are spectacular but admittedly probably overkill for my little room. I would think S5's would do nicely. Check out the REL website and there is a tab for speaking pairing. Quite helpful as well if you simply call them. Enjoy those GH's. I love my GE...

Those are truly great speakers. John Hunter of REL Acoustics fame runs those in his personal system. He worked with Franco Serblin designing RELs....probably why they are so synergistic. Re reading this thread, I too have greatly increased the crossover point. Had a close audiophile buddy...

SF Cremona Auditor M's upgrade to Guarneri Evolutions

Hello All! Currently driving SF Cremona Auditor M's paired with 2 REL G-2's subs with McIntosh 601's and C-2300 tube preamp. Really detailed with a huge soundstage....adding 1950's RCA tubes to the line stage really created a 3D, holographic presentation with incredible imaging and focus...
