Correct, except that I still have it :)

    Aesthetix IO

Yes it was enough Ron, limit but enough. I was feeding the IO into an ARC Ref 3 to a pair of Ayre MX-R, all balanced. My speakers are fairly efficient at 91db. I now replaced the ARC with an Ayre KX-R and although I haven't tried it I suspect it would work too. Dan

    Aesthetix IO

Ron, The Dynavector is harder to handle at 0.30mV and at 68 db gain couldn't detect any noise 3 feet away at listening levels. Dan

    Minus K Isolation Platform BM-8

I would add Ikea's APTITLIG bamboo cutting boards for resonance control. I've used 2 boards that I cut and glued to size in between my bm-8 and tt, works like a charm and relatively expensive. Dan

Hi Bonzo, I don't have noise issues with mine on Aesthetix's tubes but I haven't gone below 0.3mv cartridge with 68db of gain so who knows. I honestly don't remember of hands which ones were lush to me but I will look it up when I have a chance, I remember I rolled the first an second stage...

    Aesthetix IO

Hi Ron, I have been using a Lyra Etna for about 4 years now. I also have a Dynavector XV-1S I haven't installed on my TT for a long time now, a testament to how good the Etna is. So you know my Etna was installed by myself but fine tuned by Stirling Trayle of...

    Aesthetix IO

I too run my Io with Aesthetix's tubes. Tried rolling tubes in the past and wasn't to my liking, sound was a little too lush for me and I too found it less airy . Also had some issues with vintage tubes from a reputable source. Aesthetix tubes have been stellar so far so why change :)

    Triton v3 Upgrade Program

Hello, I'm curious to hear your impression on the difference between before and after the upgrade? I currently have a v2 myself.

I did change my PC's on my IO dual power supply to Shunyata Anaconda CX a long time ago and it did make a significant difference.

    Minus K Isolation Platform BM-8

Very nice system Stump, So if I understand well you like what the Minus K is doing? One question for you, what did the Stillpoints bring to the turntable? Curious to know if it's a worthwhile expense considering the BM-8 is doing an excellent job job filtering noise. Dan

    Shunyata DENALI

Hi Caesar, Hard for me to say as I've had Alpha HC's to the amps for a long time and no intention of replacing them so I never really tested which one is more important (wall to Denali, Denali to amp). I do like the idea of the King Cobra's 5 gauge cord feeding the Denali  My...

    Shunyata DENALI

Sorry Kevin I never tried an Anaconda Zitron so I can't really answer that. I guess you will have to try or contact Shunyata. Dan

    Shunyata DENALI

I would go with Denali 2000T, Cyclops does improve sound but not to the level of Denali. I listened to both in my system at different times. If your amps are power hungry make sure you have a good PC from the wall to Denali. When I originaly installed the Denali I was using an Anaconda...
