Taiko Audio Extreme DC Power Distributor

I have the Weiss PSU 102 and it's stunning. I wouldn't automatically assume it would be bettered by a Taiko battery supply. In fact, I would wager the Weiss is going to be hard to beat.

PS Audio Regenerator versus Balanced Power/Isolation Transformer for Phono Stage?

@Rumpole That Quiescent is quite dear. If you're looking for a perfect sine wave for digital, Isotek Genesis is the way to go for digital. It's quiet and works wonders for digital. You can't use it for amps though, like PS audio. I only use it for a streamer or DAC.

PS Audio Regenerator versus Balanced Power/Isolation Transformer for Phono Stage?

Nosie floor is going to much, much lower using Vertex than PS audio power regenerators. I have owned both. It's too bad nobody knows about Vertex (now Quiescent) outside of the UK.

    Counterfeit Audioquest cables?

If you won some thing on eBay that was originally £3200 for £200, then it’s fake. They went to great lengths to present these cables as authentic though.

Vertere Pulse HB USB vs. TotalDac Gigafilter

I never thought another digital cable would outperform my Black Cat Tron SPDIF, but Gigafilter is very good. That magic box is filtering out the digital nasties.

    Entreq Tellus grounding

This is a genuine insight. You are absolutely right, I had an Apollo RJ45 grounding cable for my router. After I took it off, the sound became less bright and aggressive.

Nordost Valhalla 2 and Furutech NFC

I believe the first version Valhalla power cords came with Wattgate which are just relabeled Marinco plugs. I just bought a beautiful sounding vertex aq silver roraima power cord and replaced the wattgate plugs with Oyaide M1/F1. Oyaide M1/F1 all the way.

Let's not tell Sablon you said that :p

    Innuos Pulsar ????

You were absolutely right. I have an N20 right now and I can easily hear the network noise when there isn't a switch or gigafoil between the N20 and router. In addition, ethernet cables still sound distinctly different even though the N20 is caching all of the streaming to SSD.

Bakoon Amp-41R and 51R integrated amps using SATRI circuit

I used a DAC-21 with HPA-21, and then with an amp-41 happily for many years. I sold the DAC-21 and went on a long DAC journey . . Merason DAC1, Modwright CXN, Audiomat Maestro 3 Ref. I came back to the DAC-21, upgraded my streamer to an Aurender N20. DAC-21 + amp 41 sound better than ever...

    Innuos Pulsar ????

When I first installed a Black Cat Tron SPDIF cable, it made my previous digital cable sound broken. My jaw was on the ground. And I've tried many of the ethernet cables out there, they all sound different. Currently have a Fidata, which sounds totally different than an A-B ren tech or a...

    Innuos Pulsar ????

Having a two box solution dac+streamer, requires a reference digital cable to connect them. Otherwise you won't hear what the 2 boxes are capable of.

Congrats, you did the reverse upgrade and saved money ;)

    Innuos Pulsar ????

Even when playing back files from SSD, the N20 needs a switch/filter?

Grimm MU1 vs Aurender N30SA vs Taiko Audio

Wow, would have never guessed there was a generic ethernet cable in that box at that price.
