Hi,

I am looking for options on a suitable SUT for these 2 cartridges :

ItemBrandModelcartridge ImpedanceOutput
1ClearaudioGoldfinger Mk250ohm0.7mV
2Benz MicoLPS38ohm0.34mV (supposedly at 3.3cm/s)

Phono amp is a Phasemation EA2000 (the T2000 although mentioned as being suitable for carts up to 40ohm) I am reading between the lines perhaps it is more suited for low impedance carts. Hence this question.

Looking for recommendations from fellow enthusiasts. Thanks.

The main principle in choosing SUT is to match cartridge impedance and SUT primary impedance.
In your case- 38 Ohm and 50 Ohm, the SUT with corresponding approx. 40 Ohms primary will be 1:10.
I had used Kiseki cart with 40 Ohms internal impedance and Ypsilon made a 1:10 SUT for me
Coincidentally its up for sale on Audiomart, as my new phono has built-in SUT
