    Lovely system. Thanks for sharing, I am drooling over your Nagra VPA. But I spy a Nagra HD DAC, not the Nagra Tube DAC which is the next iteration of the HD DAC (I think Nagra did themselves quite a bit of disservice with the DAC naming, for sure).

    Curious if this will be too big of a downgrade (or even a sideway swap or an upgrade) My scenario/reason is to sell the tube dac, and buy either of the other two used, and use the excess funds to upgrade my analog rig. Still wondering if it is a good idea. Nothing wrong with the Nagra Tube...

    Thanks for the info. I have a large room too, and I listen to around 75-85db, guessing I would need at least 8W then :) A monbrison will give you great tonal colours and bliss. Nothing else I have heard does that, Accuphase maybe comes close.

    I am kind of in the same boat, it seems it would cost me 10K+ to better my NUC, I am not ready to outlay that cash yet while I have some bigger-bang-for-the-bucks improvements queued up.

    Switch so far. Am looking to power it with my Nagra PSU but just haven't been able to source a Lema to DC barrel adapter to make that happen. So just a minor edit, the NUC didn't beat the CEC, but it matched up to it -- much to my surprise. I sold the CEC.

    I must be one of the extremes: with a 98.6% to the DAC (Nagra TUBE DAC + PSU at 50k msrp) and 1.4% for the server (a $700 Intel NUC -- Roon rock). I don't stream, only audio files. My NUC beat a CEC TL5 transport and an Aurender N200.

    I am seriously thinking about this CDP. Would you happen to have any idea how it sounds in comparison to the Luxman DA-06 DAC which is the only Luxman digital I have heard, and I loved it. Even if it matches D-06, for this price, I am down :)
