Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

Thanks, I can definitely live with the amount of preamp input on Poseidon. The only negative point is the lack of an I2S digital input, I would like it to be like in the Horizon, but I can live without it. Merry Christmas everyone!

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

Yes, three months have passed, and no, I haven’t bought a DAC yet. I decided to add the Lampizator Poseidon to the list for consideration and wait for reviews from first real owners, although the Poseidon is more expensive than my budget. It was supposed to be available for order from October...

    Introducing the LampizatOr Poseidon DAC

Congradulations, Lukasz, it's a gourgeous idea to create a combo of a DAC and a no-compromise preamp. IMHO, such a product is already in demand on the market and the Poseidon has every chance of becoming a killer in its price category. I am currently looking for such a product (DAC with VC) and...

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

Thank you, I didn’t know that DV2 was planned to be updated soon, I’ll keep this fact in my mind when I make my final decision

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

Thank you. To be honest, at first my absentee favorite was Pacific. But the more I read different opinions about DV2, the more I like it. I think that at the moment for me this is a truly neutral choice, without any absentee preferences, and everything will depend on how and what I manage to...

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

Thank you. I may be able to get the DV2 to my home for a short time, just a couple of days, but even that is much better than nothing. It doesn't work with Pacific yet. From the Lampizer's DACs, it might be possible to get a GG2 for day or two, just to understand the sound vector in the current...

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

Thanks, but I see no reason why this DAC should be considered as a rival for the Pacific or DV2, or my current Aqua Formula

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

I have the same thoughts, after the appearance of Horizon, they had a lot of used Pacifics in stock as a result of the trade-in program. Some of them are still available. In the case of the imminent release of Poseidon, a similar situation may occur. In any case, there is only a month left to...

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

Thanks, I've never heard of them before and have read a few reviews about them. However, they are not represented on our market and I don’t think it’s a good idea to be a pioneer. But anyway, thanks for expanding my knowledge.

Choosing a DAC with a good VC - Lampizator Pacific vs EMM Labs DV2 vs MSB Premier

I've been reading this forum for quite a long time and now it's my time to ask. I'm looking for opinions on choosing a new DAC for my home system. For the past couple of years I have been using a combo of the Aqua LinQ streamer and the Aqua Formula xHD Rev2 DAC. An excellent combination, I...

    Aqua LinQ

I used to have dCS Network Bridge and I replaced it with Aqua LinQ after I replaced the Lampizator Golden Atlantic DAC with Aqua Formula xHD Rev2. That is, I used the Formula together with the dCS NB for a while, and then replaced dCS with a LinQ. LinQ is better, even though I use an SPDIF...
