What would you consider as the best outdoor smoker?

I've gotten exceptional support from Dennis at Komodo Kamado so I'm surprised at some of the comments here, unless KK means another brand. Several times he has sent improved parts for my cooker without my asking and at no charge. Another time I tried to order a replacement part (I asked him...

What would you consider as the best outdoor smoker?

By the way, on the subject of smoking, the website http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/ is full of good information on smoking. It has a lot of information on the Weber Smokey Mountain cooker (not a bad smoker) but also covers general smoking topics as well.

What would you consider the best outdoor non-gas grill?

I also use a Weber for everyday grilling. The kamado is used for everything else. Regarding more work, the kamado takes a little more time to set up but then runs itself. One it's settled in, it will maintain a temperature for hours. The heavy ceramic walls and controlled burning are key. (My...

What would you consider as the best outdoor smoker?

I have a Komodo brand ceramic cooker and it can cook quite a bit of food on three grilling / smoking levels. http://www.komodokamado.com/

What would you consider the best outdoor non-gas grill?

http://www.komodokamado.com/ This is a bit more than a grill since it can do everything from pizza at 800°F down to 250°F for 12 hours for low and slow barbecue.

It would be interesting to have overall totals broken out by media type with downloads added.

Dynaco 120A Solid State Amp - 60 watts

There is some chance that it was originally assembled by the original purchaser. I built many 'Dynakits' in the '70's including a couple of 400 watt amps. Even if it was a kit it would essentially be factory quality since 'building' Dynakits mostly consisted of mounting pre-populated circuit...

Do media players have a sound?

Not always. If you watch the network traffic stream for Pandora (for example) you can see that it sends audio over HTTP/TCP (mostly to get through firewalls I suspect) . It is possible that once in a long while a packet might be dropped, but almost all the time there will be an error free...

    Dahlquist/Alon/Nola

I got the upgraded caps from Regnar but did all the work myself. They were prompt in sending the caps but I'm afraid I haven't used their service so I cannot comment on that.

    Dahlquist/Alon/Nola

Anyone else a Dahlquist owner/fan. I've had a pair of DQ-10s for 33 years. Still sound great (well after mirror imaging, upgraded caps, and new foam surrounds on the woofers).
