    I find it hard to believe a spectral amp would oscillate if using a spectral preamp and competent cables. Their preamps monitor this and would shut down if it was upstream or in the preamp. A well shielded cable, especially balanced xlr should be totally safe to connect the preamp and amp.

    Benchmark is proud to use the Canare cables. I have some of their xlr interconnects and it’s nice they will terminate any length.

    Ron have you tried any of the older Cardas? Golden Cross in particular can be a wonderful cable as a single cable to tune a system. I have a set of Golden Cross XLR and Neutral Reference XLR. Both have their charms.
