    Tesla Model Y performance

Elliot here in our "954" they are dime a dozen. I live in a small subdivision "West" of your shop and out of 51 homes there are at least 35 Tesla products. We opted for an Audi eTron SUV which has now been updated to a Q8 eTron. Fantastic car, no issues at all ever. The new one has enough...

The cars you have loved, or are in love with. Tell us your car history and what each one taught you

I went to buy a Mc 570 in 2017. They had 3 all in the shop for various issues. Left and ordered my R8+. One of my neighbors has a couple of Mc's and absolutely loves them but, they do spend a lot of time at the shop. I think our old Esprit Turbo was more reliable (way less tech to deal...

Hey! I like the Prog Archives and have visited it for years now. There is a poster on FB who reviews a lot of current releases. Some of my favorite "newer" offerings are Airbag (All Rights Removed), Marillions AHBID but the recording is not the best in my system, Riverside, The Mistery...

I am a big prog fan my issue with some of the sites and reviewers is that they do not differentiate from Prog styles (Neo, Prog Metal, Proto, etc). Qobuz does not differentiate between Rock subgenres either

Does DSP belong in State of the Art Systems?

Thanks! Tony I have read that thread. I'll have a look to see if anything has been posted on that one or on the REW Rabbithole by Luca.

Does DSP belong in State of the Art Systems?

I agree @Bjorn I wouldn't want to raise the nulls. I would use dsp to tame the bass peaks. My speakers have (IMHO) a great range and response (Infinity IRS Beta fully maintained/restored). They sounded better on the prior listening space which was wider and shorter. I have 2 subs which are...

Does DSP belong in State of the Art Systems?

@ecwl thanks for your feedback. Our math differs! 390 cm + 445 cm=835 cm thus 328.7 inches or 27.4 feet! I have Seven Audio bass traps in all corners, 3 deep abfussers on the side walls, diffusers on the rear wall, cloud abfussers and a couple of ASC Tube Traps that i brought from prior...

Does DSP belong in State of the Art Systems?

I have bass traps in the corners, cloud abfussers, (edit: add) abfussers on the reflection points, carpet and diffusers on back wall. Limited on speaker positioning due to large projection screen. Also my speakers are 4 towers.

Does DSP belong in State of the Art Systems?

390cm from front wall (behind speakers) and 445cm from back wall (behind my ears). Room is 11'high x 14' wide and approx. 27' deep

Does DSP belong in State of the Art Systems?

The dreaded dip at 140-150 (and at 45). I have corrected most of this in my listening room. Still not perfect (thus why I am reading/educating myself about dsp options).
