Hello HedgeHog,
The MM-1's are part of my "small system" as I'm living in a smaller apartment temporarily; my main system back home in the US is on my system page. I use the Exposere 2010S2 integrated amp (75W) with my TW Acustic Raven AC / Triplanar-7 / Transfiguration Orpheus (original...
I have the speakers now for about 4 months with maybe about 70 hours of break-in. They have defintely improved over this time. Less boxy sounding, the highs have mellowed but still retain their pristine clarity and the bass has become fuller. they are a very dynamic, high resolution and...
Hello Folks,
The equipment posted on my info page is my main system which I have been using at home in the USA prior to my arrival in Japan for a 2 year assignment. As this gear is large and heavy, since I didn't want to deal with re-configuring the power supplies, and since my room is...

Regarding jeff beck. I...
Andreas,
I have tried the boston audio and millenium on my Raven AC and like it direct with copper. I havent trued the leather mat on the AC yet but use it in another TT.
I second the Exposure 2010S recoomedation. I use the S2 version in my mini Japan system, and it offer incredible value and performance. A very clear, neutral and detailed Integrated. Very little hints of its SS nature. Highly recoomended!
cjfrbw,

Incidentally, I'm also using...
There are basically two schools of though on this. 1) Decoupling the record from the platter, 2) dampening the record vibrations which usually involves the dampening of the record and stronger coupling to the platter. the former is mostly to prevent platter vibrations from affecting the record...
