The Brutalist
Finally took the opportunity last evening to set aside 3+ hours to watch the Brutalist. Fine acting all around. Not what I would call an enjoyable movie. There sure weren’t many characters you wanted to like or pull for.- still-one

Mob Land
We are waiting for more episodes to drop before we start watching. Mirren and Hardy are two of my favorite actors. In the meantime we have been watching Bosch Legacy, Handmaids Tale, Ludwig, long Bright River and best of all The Pitt.. OOPs had one wrong title- still-one

I am not a fan of Jason Siegel at all but the rest of the cast is very good. We watched it over the years as it came out, then we rewatched it all again. I must say I enjoyed it much more the second around.- still-one

I believe both 1883 and 1923 were better series than Yellowstone. When Yellowstone focused on the ranch and cowboys it was fine TV. When Beth was center stage it became cartoonish at best. As I have indicated in the past 1923 has the potential to pass 1883 as Sheridan's best effort. I will have to wait to see these last couple of episodes to see how it ends up. We too have really enjoyed Season 2, "but" Alexandra's version of The Odyssey is getting a bit much. With only...- still-one

Most of the British Drama's are so much better than the fare we get here in the US. We get some here on PBS, Britbox, Masterpiece etc. The acting and writing is on a completely different level. The part of Landman that really ticked me off was the casting of 27 year old Michelle Randolph (who also has a part in 1923) playing a 17 year old high school student, who runs around acting like a 30 year sleaze ball. A Complete Unknown
Had the opportunity to see "A Complete Unknown" yesterday afternoon. Much better than I had expected. I thought it would never happen--Yellowstone The Epic Return
I think that’s the end of Yellowstone but additional spin offs are quite possible. I thought the voice over by “Elsa” at the end was the perfect wrap up for the series. A nice bookend between 1883 and Yellowstone.- still-one

As I have noted in the past I have enjoyed the series when they have focused on the ranch and life more than the killing etc. Most of last nights second to last episode was excellent. Watched the first two episodes last evening and Landman definitely has the feel of other Sheridan shows such as Mayor of Kingstown and Lioness.
