    This is very unlikely. The Mezzo without iTron is about 87k in euro here. Including taxes of course. Or do you mean one ;)? And you know the two certainties in life

    The Duo GT including iTron is 64k in euros in Germany, about 53k passive (high and mid section). It works the other way as well: US products are hideously expensive when bought in Europe. It is all about taxes probably.

    First experience of the Mezzo yesterday… mind boggling good: BIG sound, Deep bass. Only negative… they are really a step up from the GT’s :rolleyes: … damn:eek:

About Avantgarde G3… I love what I have heard what these loudspeakers do, be it Trio, GT, SD or Uno. If set up wrong they will bite...

    Seems a question for Armin to answer. And about the “ringing”… heard nothing of the kind after 5 sessions wit the latest generation (Trio, Duo GT, Duo SD and Uno…. Yes I have been busy ;) ).

    Listen to the iTron version in any G3 model, set up right and then save yourself a heap of money. If you want to flavor the sound (don’t know why but it is a choice), you can do it with your preamp.

    Thank you, Roy. You are right, missed that. The potential performance will have its price (probably around the 100k in iTron version). Still, Avantgarde is on a roll! Hope to hear them soon:) but the GT iTron is on my shortlist of one;)

    Well…. If I remember correctly, this set was on sale April last year (I think by a Scandinavian dealer) because they could no get it working perfectly in this room. Not because of the bass but the width was not wide enough. Which is probably right. Hope you will get a G3, like I hope to as well:)
