    Yeah I think this is the way I'm leaning (no pun!). A Memory Foam mattress topper is going to be my first step, try and adapt myself accordingly. Who knows, I may be a convert to the foam before long!

    Didnt think that thread count would have too much bearing on quality but I guess I was wrong! I'd saying you'd be paying through the nose for a luxury comforter cover though, can you tell the difference?

    Ive heard that the best latex mattress around will generally be hypoallergenic and anti bacterial so they're a little more sensitive than a memory foam mattress. Both better than sleeping on the floor though :D

    I'm curious on this as well. I am also curious if they usually come furnished or not. I won't be there often but maybe I can buy a mattress online and a sofa just to get started before i get there so I actually have a bed when I get there.
