the truth that i don't know, i didn't care so much :) (i think it was the two)
i'm going to have the Ithaka eventually either way. the Homerus price tag is to steep for me.
maybe some day in the far future.. who knows.
i just came back from visiting Stavros for the second time, and we were doing - Ithaka - ithaka minor and Homerus testing...
you can keep your Homerus with no sleep walking in my book, you have the Ultimate DAC i know to date.
best of luck.
they are absolute amazing. first time i dont even think about "is there anything better"
i just listen to music all day, and let my new electronics comes in...
it is a superb speaker set... end game kinda thing.
thank you.
congrats!
very good cartridges and still under the radar for most of the ppl.
the sound of the gold series is amazing!
i am leaving my CR un protected always...
1 - no ONE is getting close to my analog EVER
2 - its more easy for me to start spinning, we so much to take care during listening...
congratulation.
the tubes has absolutely no problem with the Clarisys audio. you can use them in ease.
regarding the break in, wait until you cover the 215 hours mark, you would not believe what you have in your room.
this speakers are pure magic.
wish you much success and happiness.
Aviad.
it is very unfortunate that some ppl cant live their lives in peace and arguing on forums like its 2001.... please..
i always thought this is a friendly place for ppl to share their passion.
Hey Bob,
in a matter of fact i never put them in comparison, but i know them both well. i think its...
you are right. i was checking with two different meters, they are vary 3-4db not 10... but i get your point,
Regarding what I wrote, I'm sorry I didn't clarify, as I tried after, the 90avg and peaks beyond is for "fun" time...
my many hours of listening is lower than that of course.
so...
mmm for classic music in a 50m2 room for full dynamics, its really fun spot. you can do even more no problem with the Clarisys auditorium, and i guess the Essentia or best of- the Quint' wont break a sweat.
but i was saying around 90 avr is "FUN" place not my average day to day listening...
i was wondering this for myself a few month ago, when i had the "studio plus" in , and made an order from AC .
initially i was in to the Essentia but i couldn't be sure it will be enough for me, im listening a lot of classical music and need the dynamic range and headroom. im pretty sure they...
they are. and they are fabulous!
till you hear the QuintEssence Amplifiers. they are GEN3 and the most advanced in AC range of amplification.
its the NEXT step IMHO of anything i heard to date.
AC have Phono stages begin at 26K euro up to 160K... so the first one in line (also two chassis) is a bit lower in price then the CHP P1 but a lot less accommodate... but its A VERY good and musical phono stage. one of the best money can buy.
i have yet compare the P1 with the Talos, but soon it will be operable to do.
i have TALOS SIG' on order with two SUT units inside.
but if someone will ask me which Phono is the best i have heard
it will be The "four chassis Aries Cerat flagship Zephyrus phono preamplifier".
i couldn't...
its really depend on which cartridge(s) you will end up with, and the type of music that you will like to listen through your vinyl.
so you can do what is best for this "specific" CR.
but,
if you want SOTA phono stage that will be fit almost any high end CR on the planet and have a very...
thank you for sharing,
i just ordered a bunch of Artemis cables. (PC, IC, and Digital AES)
i have Orion HFC Phono cable for my VYGER and it absolutely one of the Best cable i ever had!
Hope the Artemis will be similar at sq.
A
congratulation will!
what a system you will have, amazing!
im so happy for you.
i am still waiting for my full system to arrive (minus speakers.... :( ) cant wait!
sorry to disappoint but my experience with CA linear arm was turrible,
there is NOTHING that is in the same neighborhood from that to the VYGER.
BUT - I only had the "new" TT2, not the TT1 "best" bridge tonearm.
its was quite good sounding when it worked, but it was like 10% out of 100%...
not yet, maybe someday in the future... for now i am constraining on their electronic and other speakers brands.
no doubt their speakers are on my wish list! especially the "Aurora". as its the only one i can see fitting Israel living areas.
i will day dream about an order if i may ;)
i was ordering my VYGER this year (so i guess its the latest version) and live with it almost 4-5 month now (not a lot of time per se, but with me listening to analog for 70% of my 10hours a day it equal for a long time IMHO)
Like I said numerous times before, the final production this year...
I have a solution for you ;)
Sale them both and buy VYDA xlr cable.
done and dusted! Forever.
You would not believe what it will do for your P1. You will thank me later ;).
A
you can dim or close the display all together and still keep them ON,
for connection, you asked if it will work and it does, how it will sound, i dont know, but i thought yyou uwanted to do AB test and figuure what best for you,. try and decide.
there is no reason to have them both connected...
i have a full CH PRECISION system (all of it in my signature) i am always switched ON 24\7 356 days!
never turned it off. my system is always warm and ready.
the only time that i turned them off is for tiding up the system if somethiing new is coming or if i am out for a few days....
also...
its probably have some different kind of bloom you can get from the Kondo, its has like a uniq drive and paise to it... don't get me wrong the sumile, the gold or the RS are amazing. also my AIDAS GOLD and everything else, i am using my RS at the moment almost exclusive!
but it also need a...
hey,
mm... now when i almost always use the VYGER with the LP suction i dont need the clamp so much.
so old records that i know that they are centered i don't need that , but the one that i sign them for centering im using it.
new ones always get measured for centering and i will use it in...
IMHO its one of the most magical and superb cartridge you can buy.
i have a lot of CR's in my collection and the Kondo IO-XP always bring joy and something special to the table (pun intended)
sure you have to consider a perfect match SUT or phono stage for it.
