People say that amp wattage and speaker wattage is best to match up, but is it so. What are the chances my 100 watts burmester 082 can burn on my sonus faber electa amator II 200 watts max speakers?
Isnt it good to have a little less powerfull amp on speakers, since amplifier can have for all i...
Ok lol you've tested them on a lot of equipment man im impressed. The longest lived was a tube amp right.. Looks awesome the musica, must look really good with that on those AE I.
A highfi store can survive on you alone hehe
Yeah i heard about the esotar tweeter in the EA II. What amplifier did you use with the Electa Amator I?
I think my burmester 082 have perfect control of it, and they are filling eachother out good. Since the amp is just 100w in 8 ohm and AE II recommended amp was 30-200w i gave it a try, cus i...
I think the best is to have an amp and speakers together that are a perfect match. I dont see the point in getting ie a speaker that is recommended 400watts, and add a 100watts amp to it. I prefer to buy stuff that is fairly close in watts and db.
What about a dedicated tread for these two beauties. I have the Sonus Faber Electa Amator II myself, and they are so thight and sound so great.
Specification Sonus Faber Electa Amator I: Two-way dynamic ported minimonitor. Drive-units: 1" soft-dome tweeter, 7"-cone long-throw...
In it's settings i can set amplifier to PA lo or hi (originally it was on lo)
What is lo setting for and what is hi setting for, and for what scenario i need both for?
Please provide a detailed answer.
Thx LL21, i sure will !
I was a bit reluctant before i bought it, since it's a 2 way speaker, but it handle the mid/bass in 1 driver very nice, even at full load, and the treble is a tad darker than normal which fits me fine, cus i dont like treble to be dominant, but like midrange...
Yeah, youre right,thx
Ok, i got in touch with them now, and soon waiting on email from them about this. Im excited, and eager waiting this info from burmester, feels better to know the integrated amps age.
I just wonder why in most cases amplifiers etc has so small wires inside, when most people add thick expensive cables on their equipments.
Why arent those that produces amps and such using better wires inside.
How is it possible the sound get better, when the wires inside are so small?
Tried to positioning in the room better, and it made a very nice change. Thanks for pointing out it.
OMG, those i bought it from, a hifi klubb, they tried to "steal" the netcable/powercord. I had to ask them to send it afterwards, even as it said inside leaflet that a powercord was suppose to...
But trouble with defaulting it is you loose a lot of nice bass, which i love at times. So i guess ill end up by passing it sometimes and sometimes not.
Its a rather expensive amplifier, so only playing on default will not give your money's worth.
Do you have this amplifier yourself?
The amplifier has different settings that can be adjusted, like extra bass, extra tremble etc...
If i use these extra settings and adjust upward, will there be more distortion in the final resault. If so i guess its best to use the "default"?
