New European Importer for CAT Convergent Audio Technologies

Convergent Audio Technologies – The SL1 preamplifier sets the Gold Standard. Many audio companies come and go and the flavors of the month changes, but the CATs stay over decades with their owners or get upgraded to the latest edition. Over 30 years later the Mastermind behind CAT, Ken Stevens...

    Clarisys Audio Auditorium Loudspeaker

The key speciality with the CSPort is that it doesn't have any phase rotation at 2nd order crossover points and is purely reductive and additive.

    Re-imagining "Class A" Amplification

There are two people, all of whom we are in good contact with so I don't know why you would post this or what business it is of yours. The demand far exceeded our expectations.

    Re-imagining "Class A" Amplification

Thank you everyone for your great work! We are very happy that Cyrus continues to be a wonderful customer of our speakers. Clarisys speakers, due to ther high resolution and chameleon like sound, shows only what's infront of them or around them. For us it is great to hear all the positive...

All New Clarisys Audio Minuet Loudspeakers !

Hello there, well last year we had the Minuet and Studio Plus. This year we used the same speakers, no change. New this year was the Piccolo and the upgraded drivers in the Auditorium (the upgrade is available to all existing owners); no need to ship the speaker back or buy a new one (valid...

    AXPONA 2024 Ron Reporting

Odd, I guess we got lucky when we sold 3 pairs of Auditoriums LOL .... We tend to get these feedbacks on flagship systems, I guess it's because they are less approachable for people.

Clarisys Audio will show with CAT at Munich

Thank you so much for the compliments. The entire design is based on a technology study for Clarisys 2030+. There are technical aspects such as isolation from the drivers in a physical space but also the need for making speakers workable and fixable to ensure a secure financial invest over...

No, our drivers have the impedance. No transformers, no resistors.

    Clarisys Audio Auditorium Loudspeaker

Yes, doesn't mean we have to. We also don't believe in complex external passive crossovers that's why you won't find a single resistor in our crossovers anymore.

    Clarisys Audio Auditorium Loudspeaker

Quite a few things improve. Some highlights: double the impedance, twice the current in the magnetic field, higher resolution, less movement (movement is not good, movement equals non linearity, I don't know why companies proudly advertise that on a ribbon/planar speaker). But most...

    Clarisys Audio Auditorium Loudspeaker

Yes, the bass, midrange, treble is the same material, has the same motor etc... 100% identical. Like a Quad Electrostatic Quality but with power and drive.

    Clarisys Audio Auditorium Loudspeaker

We are moving the line-up to a fully coherent driver aspect over 2024 and 2025. The Auditorium + starts this off by using double sided midrange and treble ribbons which makes the material, driver 100% identical. It is also a bit taller. The good news is that since all our speakers are modular...

3 rooms and 4 systems. Convergent Audio Technologies fell in love with the Auditoriums in Florida, we will show the new Auditorium + with CAT Studio Plus with Hegel as they love our speakers and we think the 590/600 is an excellent price performance piece, plus the guys are really awesome and...

    Clarisys Audio Auditorium Loudspeaker

Not really exclusively, although it is our biggest market. We were in Munich last year as a guest of Soulution Audio, which uses the Auditorium as their Reference Panel speaker in their factory, as does Lampizator (Minuet) and Shunyata (soon with Studio Plus). We booked a big room in Munich but...

Thank you Adam for your visit and the great time :) I do plan to bring in an alternative tube tasting as well with time since the speakers simply show what you feed them. Thats because your Studio has a massive amount of more magnetic field strength, control, a much more stable frame and a larger x-max. I am glad you enjoy them :-)

Anyone seriously audition CAT gear and decide against it? Anyone switch from CAT?

I love CAT gear, had JL2s and and Sl1. Fantastic stuff. There is not always better and these endless comparisons are pointless, especially in a non fairly static environment. I also had a bunch of NAT gear, which all broke and the customer service was not good. The CATs never had an issue.
