I found this on the Ampex list,


"Audio Devices, the maker of AudioTape magnetic tape and AudioDisc lacquer recording discs, published in the 1950's and early 1960's several two-year editions of the "Tape Recorder Directory." This publication listed and illustrated many professional and consumer tape recorders then on the market, alphabetically by manufacturer."
