What a heartthrob for budding grade school males. We would get out around 3pm, parish CS 1-8. Walk was not that far.

Honestly, I didn't walk. I ran. Came on after Johnny Carson/Ed McMahon and Who Do You Trust game show

There wasn't a tweener in the country who didn't get a woody for Annette. Then of course we all felt jilted when she and Frankie Avalon became an on screen sensation
