I own TAD ME1 speakers and recently added TAD M1000 power amp in the chain. It replaced a Vitus RI-101 mk2.
I run the MSB Discrete dac straight into the TAD M1000. The turntable goes through a MFA baby reference 2 passive preamp.
Nice sound but not fully convinced.
Today I have received a Thrax Teres mk2 to try.
I notice the more musical and forgiving sound presentation.
It will be hard to properly assess both amps without a more robust dedicated preamp.
I have 3 days to decide if keeping or not the TAD M1000… after then I wont be able to return it any longer.
Anyone who experienced Thrax and in particular Teres stereo mk2?
