I have put a deposit down (to get onto the three-year waiting list) for this amplifier without audition (only heard YouTube video of one playing).
Does anyone out there either own one or listened enough to review it? It is fairly unique by its use of voltage regulating valves of different values that one can use to alter the sound character. In addition, it can be used like an integrated or as a power amp off a pre.
Questions:
General opinion of sound and build quality, and which voltage regulating set have you auditioned it with?
Do you listen with or without a preamp?
Off phono stage or CD player?
