It says I'm stoopid. More stoopid than most. LOL!

Why does one want to know?

"...Oh Lord it's hard to be humble when you are perfect in every way..."

BTW "I'm not smarter than a fifth grader."

I am usually horrible at these tests. Not sure why but I am just not good at solving puzzles. But this one was kind to me:

No need to take the quiz! I know I am .. Just look at my interconnect cables :)

Don't know why but this reminds me of a story :). I am interviewing for a VP of engineering job at a video hardware company. They have me interview with the people would be my direct reports (always an awkward situation). I get through all of them 'till I get to the last guy who was the chief technical guy. He starts the interview immediately with a physics puzzle question: "if you have a boat, and you put X weight in it, how much does it sink" or some such thing. I had a flashback to high-school when I was thought stuff like this but no longer remember any of it. I thought I had two options: struggle through it or just flat out say I don't know. I chose the latter, smiled and simply said I don't know, thinking that this is going to upset the applecart. To my surprise, he said he was very happy with my answer! I asked why? He said because you smiled! He continued to say he was very happy to see me not get upset or make up an answer. And that since I was going to be his boss, my pleasant demeanor was important to him!

Now you know why I am not afraid of being wrong in these tests :D.

Nice story, Amir.

I'm not afraid to be wrong because I might learn something that might make me less stupid.

Here's how stoopid I can be - first time I did the test, I did better, but forgot to save the graphic. Second time I did the test, I was stoopider which goes to prove that some of my answers are guesses.

6% stupid....

May be that's because I said that I'll show the graphic even if I send up being totally stupid.....

That can't be it....or maybe it could have been worse.....or.....I'm really feeling stoopid now! ;) ;) ;)

Amir,

He was testing to see at what level you tend operate. Had you dived into the problem posed, you'd have been seen as a micro-manager, something that a direct report to a VP would not want to see. Looks like you passed the test. So how much $$ did they offer you?? :)

I guess someone didn't tell spammers I did relative well in this test 'cause I just received mail that I should sign up for SAT prep school!!!

I miss this guy.

I hate puzzles and refuse to take this test because it'll make me look stoooopid.
