Audioquest Firebird Zero the right choice?

Hello,

Please advise, for my system:
Magico S3 MK2, Auidionet Humboldt, shortly I will purchase the new DCS Lina.

I’am looking for new speakercable’s.
I want to replace my Chord Sarum.

Dealer offers me a set Audioquest Firebird Zero 2x4 meter for $11000. (1 year old)

Is this a wise investment or can I get better?

I have Magico S3 2023 speakers powered by a Boulder 2160. I have been using Albedo reference speaker wire. My dealer offered to loan me a pair of the AQ Firebird Zero speaker wire to try out (I already have Firebird power cabling and Firebird XLR interconnects which I purchased from my dealer). I took the Firebird wire home and over a two plus week period compared the Firebird to the Albedo wire, doing a lot of extended listening to both digital and LP's in my system. Before I started the comparison I assumed that I would prefer the Firebird to the Albedo. BUT, I found that I actually preferred the Albedo to the Firebird speaker wire, by a relatively large margin.

Speaker wire is very important, especially in a high resolution system and the Magico speakers are highly resolving. My advise, before you buy, is to set your budget and try out, at home, as many different brands and models of speaker wire you can lay your hands on and can ultimately afford and do a lot of listening to your music and comparing and then pick the pair you like overall the best. If you have a budget of at least $11,000 or anywhere close to that there really are many fine choices out there for you to consider. But you have to try the speaker wire in your system before choosing as there are often significant differences in speaker wire performance.

Little problem is I need at least 2x 4 meter. Offen dealers don’t have this lenght in stock but I will certainly try different brands.

Never heard of Albedo but will check.

Albedo makes very good silver wire. Their website is at "albedo-silver.com" and they are in Poland, so they should be less expensive in Europe. Check them out.

Yes I know, AQ Firebird Zero retail € 28.600(!) in The Netherlands. Far to expensive for this cable!
Dealer offered them for €10.000 ($11.000)
Anyway, I’am not going to buy them.
