Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Official Teaser Trailer #1 (2016) - Ben Affleck

"Tell me...do you bleed? You will."

That rocks.

Can't wait. Can't imagine the storyline too.

I'm betting they'll follow Frank Miller's (300, Sin City) Dark Knight I graphic novel. I always preferred Marvel to DC as a boy. I actually dreamt of working for Marvel as a young boy. I can still pencil pretty well too if I'm allowed to brag a little :D Batman however is the only DC character I really liked and Miller's Batman the one I liked best of all.

I am still miffed at how the story lines have been mangled in the movies. Marvel is split between Marvel/Disney (Marvel Cinematic Universe), Fox (X-Men) and Sony (Spidey) and things are getting ugly. DC has been far less successful on the big screen but seems to be doing well on the small screen.

Supes vs Batman is crucial for DC. It is the lynchpin for plans to do Justice League. If this movie bombs, it's all over folks. I'm pulling for them.

Wasn't Mike Grell the best Batman artist?

Yes. To me Miller was the best Batman writer. Miller made their showdown plausible. No spoilers from me :D I will let it slip that a certain Mr. Queen was involved.

Writer? Well, yeah that is something else right there and I defer to you on that.

I was more marvel too...

I can't make sense out of how you bring two unrelated superheros into the same story, picture. Did they run out of ideas for Batman series?

I prefer Marvel to DC in all things except Batman, which I prefer over all other things comic. As far as movies go, The Dark Knight trilogy contains my 3 favorite super hero movies, period. Ever. Doubt it can be topped.

:D We fully agree Tim. Dark Knight was Miller penned. Incidentally Miller came to DC from Marvel. A bit of trivia there. :D

Well the DC guys did do something in Man of Steel that sort of sets up the false god premise of S vs B. They showed Supes to have less control of his emotions than all Supes prior. There was a lot of uproar from the DC purists when shockingly they had Supes break Gen. Zod's neck. It was if I'm not mistaken the first time Superman actually killed somebody on the screen (he has in the books)

It was the first time and I must admit that I didn't know he did in the books. I thought it was the first ever
