This is the color that dont normally see. You must have many fond memories of it. Such great looking car. I like the size of car back then. They are not big like today's.

I wish someone would build a classic car that can fit a non- classic sized person like myself. I can't even get into a modern day Ferrari, let alone enjoy it.

My friend had a RS3.1 with bricks in the front wings to keep the nose down at speed.

even slim people get claustrophobic in their poor mans ferrari. you're not alone. opel gt is smaller.

Know exactly how you feel. If you want something fun to drive and fits larger people, a JCW Mini might do the trick. I am 6'4" and well lets just say large and I had plenty of room.

Best Classic European Sports Car?
Maybe not the best European sports car, but my best 50 years ago: Cabriolet + 6 gears (4 plus 2 overdrive) + wire wheels + 3!!! windscreen wipers + 2!! x 6 volt batteries to reach 12 V + downhill and without headwind (but very rarely) 205km/h on the speedometer = MGB
Total 140.000KM without failures, that was hard to imagine for many European Classic European sport cars.

When I was growing up my father used to recycle the same couple of thousand dollars to buy a series of fun, used British sports cars. His first was an Austin Healey Sprite, then a Triumph TR6 and then an MGB GT.

I was lucky enough to have the MGB GT as my daily driver in Washington, D.C., for a couple of years. Sadly, while my father was driving the car in Central Park the year I brought it back from Washington, D.C., the insulation in the engine compartment caught on fire, and the car completely went up in flames.

Know exactly how you feel. If you want something fun to drive and fits larger people, a JCW Mini might do the trick. I am 6'4" and well lets just say large and I had plenty of room.

My uncle was a classic British car guy, particularly Triumphs; Spitfire, TR7, TR8. He also had an MGB for a while.
