As part of my CH-based system build, I came to a crossroad to decide what's next.
My budget allows one CH (series 1) box.
Digital:
I currently own a C1.1 with a roon-ready ethernet card. I stream using Qobuz and my own digital library (ripped CDs and high-res downloads).
I have a large library of SACDs and special CDs which are not available on online streaming services. For that I have an old Metronome T6 based CD transport. Which works well with the C1.1.
Analog:
I'm currently using the Allnic H-7000V with the Kondo SUT, which I very much like. I have a wide selection of cartridges, most of them requires a low impedance SUT (like the Kondo).
What would provide a bigger step to my setup.
Should I go with the D1.5 and the CH-link to better enjoy SACD and CD content.
Or should I replace my tube-based Allnic with the P1 (probably with the EQ curves optional card).
