It's always amazing that not many are intelligent enough to recognize propaganda bs!

Or ignorant enough to see the truth even when it stares in the eye! Lies, scandals, harassments and indictments be dammed!

Okay gentlemen. That is enough political talk. In this thread, members are allowed to post comments about the trailer or the movie. WBF members are not allowed to make any political statements or post any commentary about their own political views. Any more off topic, political in nature commentary will be deleted and administrative action might be taken.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation,
Management team at the WBF.

Thanks! Another audio site I use to visit all the time has been tarnished by the political nonsense and is no longer an inviting place to visit.

On behalf of the management team here at the WBF, you are welcome.

That's exactly why I made the provocative post. How is a thread like this not going to degenerate into ad hominem attacks?

Do you think the movie is about laundering money through speeches?

It does touch on that subject Folsom.

Hew, they will not be tolerated.

It goes further than that Folsom, it's about the entire money trail and activities of a potentially criminal family with a lot of power and seeking even more.

Dan, what's your thought on that video documentary? I watched most of it and I found it mostly alarming, distressing, depressing and despicable. :b

They did a good job of turning the New York Times bestselling book into a movie.

Who's making "cash" from the bestselling book and movie documentary?
______

It surprises me about the ignorance of many people regarding Bill and Hillary Clinton's money deals.
A good example can be found in some of the comments below the documentary.

So your sole intention here is torpedoing someone else's thread because you don't like it!

A political movie about a political couple selling political favours, with one member of the couple in the middle of a political campaign for president during a political election year…. linked by the OP to a political website…

I do not argue that politics should not be discussed. They should. It's necessary.

I do not argue that it’s impossible for political discussions to be fact-filled and civil. I know they can be, and I wish they all were.

I wish this forum would allow fact-filled, civil discourse on politics (I would welcome the group's view on certain questions I have), but one owner and one moderator claim they don’t….

… so why the pretence that this blatantly political thread is anything but that?

It's not one owner and one moderator but rather the entire admin team who are unified on this . I agree with you in principal that political discussions should be allowed but the best answer is not in an audio forum. There are plenty of political fora in the Internet.
As for the thread I also cannot disagree. Maybe the correct response is to watch the video and formulate your own decisions. That's what I did.

Steve,
My writing was unclear. I did not mean only you and treitz3 support the no-politics policy; I meant both of you posted in this thread to that effect.
I read a couple of summaries of the film and downloaded it in case I want to watch it, but I kind of doubt I will. I'm not lacking in knowledge on bad stuff about either Clump (= Clinton+Trump). So much so, that I'm well beyond picking the lesser of two evils: for my family, my country, my friends, myself, I simply don't want to vote for any evil. We know the overwhelming majority of voters don't like either candidate, meaning all of those who vote for a Clump are picking the lesser of two evils.
If I were allowed to post on politics here (I don't know of or belong to political fora), I would enquire about or encourage a bipartisan, non-political movement telling voters how to send a message to both parties saying we don't like the options. Without a movement, I can easily: not vote for president, vote for a third party candidate, or write-in a real, fictitious or dead person. But a movement with a unified message could inform both parties of our frustration.
That's what I would post, if I were allowed to do so here. ;)

I'm with SoundAndMotion Steve, this year is too big a deal for all of us to ignore. It's true that there are political fora all over the net but this is our community and it's an international community like no other with many intelligent people, why shouldn't we benefit from it? Beyond our elections there are many important changes going on around the world that many of us would like to discuss and even argue over. We had a thread on Brexit and other political topics in the past why is only conversation about our own country taboo? This isn't going away and if anything temperatures will continue to rise, maybe its time for an unmoderated Outside Forum for those who want to discuss other subjects of interest be it politics or fetishes.
