David Bowie /// Rest In Peace /// We all Love you ... for Eternity

Bummer..

I saw him here at the Curtis Hixon Convention Center (before they tore it down) during the Diamond Dogs tour, looks like July 2, 1974.

The costumes and sets were in a truck in a ditch upstate, but the audience was all dressed up.

Down front tickets, and it must have been a relatively memorable occasion, since I still remember some of it.

Wow... my Pinto was only a year old then...

Sad, sad news!:( He exemplified creativity through constant change in musical direction. Something we're likely to not ever see again. Thank you Mr. Bowie!

I was stunned by the news. One of the creative geniuses of his time.

RIP Ziggy

When I drove to work they were playing his music. Since it had just been his birthday I didn't think much of it. As I exited the car they were talking about the "Sigma Kids" who hung around outside Sigma Sound Studios as he recorded "Young Americans". When the record was finished he invited the kids in to listen.

Sad day...

PS Anyone heard his new album?

So far, I think CNN of all places has the best headline "Planet Earth Is Blue". Such an untimely loss. Loved his music as a kid.

Loved this musician. Downloading Black Star, and his 5 year remastered set, as I type. RIP.

Boy that is very sad news. He was one of the few artists that made MTV in early days and the whole notion of music videos. Rest in peace David.
