Has anyone bought gear from soundwithvibes.com before? Found them off of hifishark but didn’t see anything off a search of their name here surprisingly.

thanks,
Tom

Nobody has heard of them? Just wanted some peace of mind before considering working with them.

I looked at their website and they have too many to good to be true pricing on items that every dealer knows the value, that's the first red flag. 2nd red flag is that while multiple locations are mentioned no physical address is provided. Stay away!

Good to see similar thinking as to red flags. I’m just used to seeing scams on local classifieds, not a fully developed website. I asked for a video of the gear today and haven’t heard back since. Final red flag.

Definitely suspicious. I actually got a video from the seller but it was a 10sec clip from a top view of the speakers with a note attached that said “buy with confidence” and included my name.

They might have a few things in stock or faking it all but this site is definitely fraudulent.

I wonder how they have kept the site up for so long. Isn’t there a better business bureau or similar for the UK?

This isn’t a company just some individuals who put up a website, no laws against that. There are many of them around and usually the scammers own multiple sites for all kinds of products.

I’m just surprised a google search didn’t turn up any forum conversations. If I got scammed by them, I’d post negative comments in every hifi forum I could find. Seems like that site has been up since at least 2018.
