Dexter Resurrection

Without question, the original Dexter series remains one of my all-time favorites and one that always we lookedforward to, and it never ceased to produce goosebumps on our back to watch Dexter‘s escapades. It was sad to watch it to come to an end and inevitably the ending truly proved that Dexter was over. Last year, Michael, C Hall and his genius resurrected the series and created Dexter the Original Sin. This is a prequel, showing Dexter in his younger ears and how he rises to become a serial killer. The Original Sin was certainly worth watching, and was very good, but certainly not excellent like the original Dexter

Well, lo and behold, the creative genius of Michael C Hall emerges once again as he takes control of the Dexter’s series and creates Dexter Resurrection. The first two episodes aired on July 11 and I have to say that if you’re a Dexter fan this is once again Dexter at its very best. I won’t announce any spoilers as to how rRsurrection gets started, but the first half of season one episode one creates short little vignettes which ties everything together to get the story started. In essence, Dexter remains very much alive and is now off to find his son who shot him and left him for dead. There are many cameos in the first episode and I have to say that if you’re a Dexter fan, this is not to be missed. It was truly exciting and I look forward to episode three because this is one series that in my mind is going to prove to be excellent.

Even Battista is back with cameos by many of the main characters (John Lithgow and Jimmy Smits) who were featured each season and ended up on Dexters kill table.

Uma Thurman is also in the show and she is one mean woman

Seen just the first episode and loved it, will be watching the second episode later today but like you said Steve, this is once again Dexter (and son) at its very best!
