Hi guys!

I was wondering if anyone on this forum is using Dyrholm Audio cables. I'm progressively wiring my system with these bad boys and wanted to share some of my observations.

Dyrholm Audio is a Danish brand with over 20 years of experience and a high level of know-how. All the cables are handmade in Denmark, and the materials used are top-notch, for example, UPOCC copper (custom ordered from an Asian supplier), monocrystal 6N+ silver used in their flagship interconnects (for the first time silver of this purity produced in Europe), highest-quality Furutech NCF plugs, their own unique geometry, non-bleached cotton insulation for each wire, and so on. They’re really packed with high-quality stuff, and plenty of material which in my opinion partly justifies the price, especially considering that some companies are still selling plain old “audiophile air" and charge 5 digit numbers.

I’ve had the pleasure of comparing them to various cables from Shunyata, Siltech, Stealth Audio, Hijiri, and Synergistic Research, and they’ve always held their ground. Of course, this hobby is highly subjective and system-dependent, so it's not like there's a single "ultimate" cable loom. But even their entry-level models deliver plenty of musicality, dynamics, and timing accuracy, along with exceptional timbre. I believe Alpha Audio from the Netherlands tested and measured some of their more affordable models, and in addition to outstanding sonic performance, the electrical measurements turned out to be equally impressive.

Below are a few photos of their new flagship model, Nexus, which is next on my system bucket list. Since I’ve switched to active loudspeakers, I need custom cable lengths so it’s going to take some time.

Thought it would be nice to start a Dyrholm Audio thread and see if there are any other users out there… or maybe even fellow fans :p

Denmark certainly has some very refined, almost exotic and extreme cable manufacturers: Zensati, Anzus and Dyrholm. Very expensive and very capable. Maybe Dyrholm is the more sensibly priced. Congrats!

Denmark's audio field is really impressive considering how small is the country. Not many people know, but a very first loudspeaker was invented in Denmark by Peter L. Jensen and by a first loudspeaker I mean first with moving coil drivers that are used till now.
Also the amount of super hi end gear produced by Danes is crazy.
