A mile of tape at 15ips plays for about 70 minutes - and Myles has many, many miles of it in his collection.

If you are coming to the Capital AudioFest, please join us in the Frederick Room on Saturday, Nov 9th 6pm for an evening of tape. Myles will be bringing some of his favorite albums on tape, and we will have not one, but TWO tape machines to play them with. That way, we can rewind on one while playing the other for minimal dead time.

Attendees will hear some of the best examples of the tape medium played back on the brand new French Analog Audio Design TP-1000 reel-to-reel tape machine! Tape will be rewound on the Revox B77 Yello edition. (Gary hoped to have new Revox B77 Mk. III for the show but they are a bit backordered and won’t make an appearance.)

They will front a system comprising the limited edition Heed Audio Helikon electronics and Genesis Foxtrot loudspeakers.

I've decided after due consideration and listening to bring these five tapes to the Saturday night event. All have amazing sound and are musically outstanding! Especially Saturday Night in SF that attendees will hear for the first time in glorious analog sound! So make it a point before hitting dinner to drop by and say hi and give a listen!
