This is the chilling true story of Keith Hunter Jesperson, the notorious Happy Face Killer, whose crimes inspired the new Paramount series. From his troubled childhood and early signs of violence to his reign of terror as a cross-country truck driver, we explore how this father of three became one of America's most infamous serial killers. We're breaking down the smiley face signatures, his daughter Melissa Moore's journey to cope with her father's legacy, and how a false confession nearly let him escape justice. This haunting story shows how a seemingly normal family man harbored dark secrets that would eventually destroy countless lives.
We watched the first 3 episodes of this very chilling true story of serial killer Keith Jesperson with Dennis Quaid in the starring role. The acting sometimes is a bit forced but nonetheless the story is told through the eyes of his daughter who worked as a makeup artist on the TV show of Dr Greg (similar to Dr Phil) and how her private hidden life becomes revealed and how she becomes the coproducer of the show for her boss Dr Greg.
Definitely worth the watch with each episode between 45-55 minutes
