Hi,

My name is Vladimir Dorta and I live in Issaquah, Washington State. I have been in this hobby since the late sixties (yes, I am a 71-year old guy). Some speakers I have owned: Quad ELS-57, Spendor BC-1, Spica TC-50, Wharfedale W-60 (sand-filled double walls), Apogee Duetta Signatures, KEF 105, B&W (several models), etc.

I am semi-retired now and listening to a simple but good small-room system composed of a pair of ACI Sapphire XL monitors on Sound Anchors stands reinforced by a pair of AV123 MW15 subwoofers, an Anthem 225 integrated, a full Bolder-modified Logitech Squeezebox 2 and a Monarchy M-24 tube DAC.

Very happy to have discovered this forum.

Hi vdorta,

The Spica TC 50 were my first pair of high end speakers. I still have them and still listen to them once in a while.
