Glad to be aboard, Mishawaka is right next to South Bend and of course Notre Dame. I work at the airport screening passengers and their luggage. The Hummer military vehicle is made a couple of miles from my house.

I got the audio bug when I was serving in the Air Force in Italy, everybody had a nice stereo system since we could them cheap from the Base Exchange store. Around the same time when on leave I heard a pair of 7ft Acoustat dipole planer speakers. Which started my love affair with planer speakers, currently have Magnepan 3.6's with 10.1 pulling surround duty.

Recently I added some wings to the Maggies and they really improved the bass response and center image, causing me to retire my subwoofer and MMGC center channel.

Currently I am trying to improve my listening room acoustics, by adding more diffusion behind the Magnepans. I tried using absorption but did not care for the results, though I do use some in the rest of the room.

I hang out most of the time at the Audio Annex forum, which is mostly made up of members of the Sound & Vision forum but who got tired of the lack of admin. support. I also frequent the Magnepan Users Group/Planer Asylum.

Though I love planer speakers, I am always open to hearing other high end systems. Would love to hear Wards Webs system's. Vivid's Giya speakers and Dyanudio's C1 were too excellent speakers I heard at the 2010 AudioKarma Fest 2010.

Well if anyone wants to hear a pair of Magnepan 3.6's let me know, or maybe I could come hear your system, as long it is not Bose. Also have planer computer speakers, Monsoon MM2000 which are pretty awesome too. ;)
