I'm new to projectors and all these ports are a bit confusing for me. I have a simple but urgent question and would appreciate your help. I recently ordered CZUR StarryHub projector, and I’m attaching a picture of all the ports on the back. I’m running out of time to cancel the order if needed, so your quick advice would mean a lot.
Here is the port picture:

and I have an LG DH6530t sound system. It has a DVD player
I do not like the built-in speaker in StarryHub I think the sound not as clear as I expected.
How I plan to use the setup:

Both my DVD player (which is part of the sound system) and the projector have USB ports. However, I don’t plan to use the USB port on the projector at all. I’ll be using the USB port on the DVD player instead.

With that in mind, my question is:

How can I connect the projector to the sound system so that the video plays through the projector and the audio comes from the sound system?

My idea was to use an HDMI-to-HDMI cable—since HDMI can carry both video and audio—and connect the sound system's HDMI port to the projector's HDMI port. The USB drive would stay plugged into the DVD player.

In this setup, the video should go from the DVD player's USB to the projector via HDMI. If the audio is also sent through HDMI, I can simply mute the projector’s built-in speaker and still hear everything through the sound system.

My goal is to use the projector only as a display unit, while the sound system handles reading and playing the media.

Would this work?
Thanks in advance for your help!
