Ah yes. That makes sense. Thanks.The tilt is the result of the the truck chassis twisting under the torque. You can see this happen with some street modified dragster classes where they don't use full tube chassis. Torque steer is a different thing, unique to front-wheel drive.
The smoke is just as bad in the diesel classes at tractor pull events in the US...

There fixed it for you. They learned a long time ago that when the axle shafts are of uneven length you get torque steer. Bad motor mounts will do it too.
I don't understand why to this day some manufactures still use unequal axels. I drove a shoebox scion while in Seattle and if you gassed it the steering wheel was practically ripped out of my hands.
Okay, I'm calling you out on this one. There's no way a shoebox Scion produced enough torque to pull the wheel out of your hands. I know, because I drive one. It barely produces enough torque to make the damned thing move.
