Is Wadax still in Business?

I have been in the audio industry for over 20 years and represent several world-class audio manufacturers. Recently we had a Wadax Pre one traded in and one of the channels cuts in and out. We took the piece of equipment to a very good repair shop and the repair shop tried to contact Wadax but received no response. After three attempts the repair shop decided they could not do the repair. I have personally tried to contact Wadax six times and they have never responded. I then tried to contact the US distributor and he has not responded. I then tried to contact the Canadian distributor and they said they are not the distributors and in fact they have had issues getting Wadax product repaired.

Is Wadax still in business and if so how do you get schematics and repairs done for this manufacturer?

I apologize you’ve had such a difficult time getting hold of us, but I haven’t received any inquiries from you. I can assure you that Wadax is still in business. You should have a message from me on your in box.

After contacting Robert, we were able to diagnose and repair the problem he was having with his Pre1. He sent the follow-up message below, which he has given me permission to repost here:

I want to follow-up on the situation and let everybody know my honest opinion in regard to Wadax. Brandon, who is a top representative for Wadax in North America, contacted me directly and we shipped the unit back to Wadax in Spain. The repair was done over a two week period and every step of the way Wadax sent me very professional updates.

I now understand that Wadax was not receiving my emails and my emails were getting lost in spam due to my email address. I also understand that after many emails and direct contact from one of the main representatives at Wadax via a phone call, that Wadax is truly a world-class company. I received a phone call that explained the situation very clearly and also explained that their number one concern is taking care of the end-user in every regard.

At no point when I was speaking on the phone with Wadax did I ever feel that the conversation was about me not saying bad things about Wadax but rather Wadax absolutely wanting to be a world-class audio manufacture in every regard. To conclude: I would say if you're a Wadax owner that you should have zero concerns about quality control or any repairs that would need to be done. Please keep in mind the piece of equipment that I sent in was over 10 years old and it was repaired in 2 weeks time.
