Levi Burr "Another Domino Map"

Debut instrumental LP of a psychedelic Americana. Killer recording.

Common Saints "Cinema 3000"

Solo soul LP. 45 rpm vinyl

Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs "Vagabonds, Virgins and Misfits"

Another fun LP by Tom Petty's guitarist/collaborator.

Fantastic Negrito "Son of A Broken Man"

From Bandcamp: When you listen to Fantastic Negrito, you’re invited to hear the story of life after destruction. Each song is a real story about a musician from Oakland who experienced the highs of a million-dollar record deal, the lows of a near fatal car accident that left him in a coma, and is now in the midst of a rebirth that took him from the streets of Oakland to the world stage.

The Hanging Stars "On A Golden Shore"

New to me UK group with a psychedelic country vibe. Well recorded.

Susanna Hoffs "The Lost Record"

I still have a crush on the former Bangles singer...sigh

Chris Kasper "Sunlight In An Empty Room"

Another Bandcamp find. Philly singer songwriter. LP has killer sonics.

Los Yesterdays "Frozen in TIme"

Chicano flavored LA Soul

Orville Peck "Stampede"

Punk drummer turned country singer’s 3rd release and it's a killer collection including multiple duets. The duet with Willie Nelson got the most attention but my favorites are the Margo Price and Elton John duets. Great sonics.

Cleo Sol "Gold"

Technically a 2023 release but the outstanding 45rpm vinyl came out in 2024.

The TIndersticks "Soft Tissue"

More brooding than recent releases. Well recorded.

Jack White "No Name"

Strong comeback LP after a couple disappointing releases by the former White Stripes' frontman.

YNYS "Dosbarth Nos"

Did not have a Celtic power pop band as one of my favorites on the 2024 scorecard but here we are. Gyda Ni might be my favorite 2024 single.
