My Linto died a while back. It was purchased used about 15 years ago. It had been discontinued when I attempted to buy a new one.
I then used the Linn Akurate DSM’s phono input while I searched for a replacement. It was okay, but not nearly as good as the Linto.
My Linn Uphorik arrived today from the good people at Accent on Music in Mt Kisco, NY. I had purchased two Linn Krystal MC carts from them.
After some rack modifications and reconnections, I’ve been enjoying my large and diverse record collection. The Uphorik is a huge improvement over the Linto and a monumental improvement over the DSM’s phono stage.
See my signature if you are interested in seeing my system that is in a small room accompanied by a full CD rack, large LP shelves, a computer table with the PC and two monitors. And of course my rocking listening chair.
