My rebuilt modded Linn LP12 needs a new motor - I live 100 miles north of NYC in the Hudson Valley and am curious if somebody here might know of a turntable tech to whom I could take my table for repair relatively nearby....maybe within100 miles or so from 12583.
It has an aftermarket microprocessor speed controller that has failed. So, maybe that just needs to be removed - I'm no turntable mechanic. There is a Linn specialty sope to the sounth closer to NYC that's great, but they're purists and all the mods on the table would make their hair catch fire!
