An independent local vinyl enthusiast company from Turkey called "Mingo" has just rolled out their stylus counter. It keeps track of three individual stylus durations. Charges through usb and writes the information to rom, so even if you forget to charge, the durations are still intact and kept on memory.

For people like me who likes to keep track of their stylus usage durations, this is a godsend accessory and having three identifiable ones on a single machine beats simple counters. I have already ordered one! The price is really good and they even have free worldwide shipping.

I bought one. It arrived from Turkey in non-working condition. The overall feel is that of a $5 Chinese toy, not a $100+ electronic component. Let's see how this one pans out.

Mine is exactly like the photo and it works. I am sorry to hear about yours. Contact them, I am sure they will help you out. I will also let them know about this thread so people can follow through.

I emailed them. Within an hour I got a reply. I’ll just say the vendor is making things right and it doesn’t get any better than that.

Interesting. The only problem I see is, you have to remember to use it. Also you have to remember to start and stop it when you play your records.
I know I would forget. Lucky for me my motor Dereneville DAE 01 CL has this function built in, which means I can't forget to turn it on or off.
