I have to admit that the Lakers are playing well although last night was a lucky win. They built a 21 point lead and almost lost it at the end to the Wolves who had a much depleted team and ANT was ejected.
I haven’t admit that age 40 LeBron is outplaying players half his age
The Lakers are currently 4th in the west and are playing as a team. Last night however they were missing everything in the second half

as we go into the final stretch of the season, a few things are clear
1. The road to the championship doesnt go through Boston but clearly through Cleveland with Oklahoma a strong second
2. Lakers are waking up and their trade for Doncic is looking like one that will stun the NBA for many years to come. He just turned 26 yesterday
3. Lakers are 18 of their last 22 and are the hottest team in the league since mid January
4. At age 40 who would have thought that LeBron would still be playing at this level. Im far from a fan but he has literally carried the team on his back this season and is ranked 6th in the KIA MVP race
5. Why is Donovan Mitchel ranked so low in the KIA MVP race
6. The Pistons are emerging as a team........finally
7. Joel Embiid is done for the season as are the Sixers
8. Watching the Lakers beat the Clippers last night told me once again the Clippers need a reboot starting from the coach all the way down. Kawhi Leonard can still score but he is but a shadow of his former self.The team now belongs to Harden.
9. Big showdown this week between Lakers and Knicks Knicks are playing great but those Cavs IMO are the team to beat in the East
10. Finally Austin reaves has emerged as a true star for the Lakers (although he left the game last night with a calf strain His ability to dribble and handle the ball is exceptional . If the Lakers stay healthy (Rui and Reaves are out) they might prove Sir Charles wrong when he said "the Lakers aint contenders"

Not only did the Lakers win again tonight and sweep the series from the clippers but they suddenly find themselves in 2nd place in the WC. They are the hottest team in the league right now at 18-4 since mid January

as we go into the final stretch of this NBA season, the only thing which for me is an enigma is the Phoenix Suns. At the start of the season I would have bet they would finish in the top 6 and ere we are now and they are mired in 12th place out of contention unless a miracle happens. And suddenly we read today about trade rumors for KD
Where is he supposed to be traded to?
I would REALLY love to see KD traded to a contender

last night's game between the Knicks vs Lakers was probably the most exciting game between any team I've seen all year. Lakers finishing out a 6 game home stand and were 5-0.
Lakers as always started fast out of the start and had a 9 point lead going into the 2nd period, when suddenly Lakers were missing everything and the Knicks behind Brunson were hitting 3's from everywhere thanks to Og Anunoby and the Knicks held a 13 point lead going into the 4th. Lakers came alive and suddenly the game was tied at 96 with under a minute to play. Lakers drop 3 and go up 99-96. Brunson as always was hot and ties the game at 99 to force OT.
At the start of OT Lakers take a quick 5 point lead until Brunson once again makes impossible shots but at 109-10g he comes down hard on his ankle as he draws the foul. He limps to the FT line and ties the game at 109 and then limps to the locker room . What a blow for the Knicks as the Lakers behind Lebron ice it for the win at 113-109 and go 6-0 at home
I keep saying I am not a LeBron fan but as the oldest player in the league he wasn' t even winded. He looks as if he can play another 2 seasons . Doncic is feeling more comfortable in the purple and gold as Lakers remain the hottest team in the league since mid January. Next big test for the Lakers is at Boston tomorrow.

are the Lakers for real? I have to admit that as a 40 year Lakers cheer leader, they haven't been as exciting to watch IMO since Kobe was in his prime. They have become the number 1 clutch team and the best in the league since mid January

at Boston, another terrific game as Lakers come in with an 8 game win streak only to be blown out in the first 3 periods by Brown and Tatum. Boston is an amazing 3 point shooting team as the carry a 23 point led intto the 4th period only to have the Lakers come roaring back to close within 4. Tatum and Green take over the game and close out the Lakers 111-101

I totally agree but the end to this story is even worse. In lieu of Kyrie's injury AD has now said that he is putting his health first and wont return this season. It makes this trade show as one of the worst in NBA historyI feel really bad for poor Kyrie (who grew immensely on me)
